Leila Wins NYC Midnight 250-word Competition (5400+ entrants)
From an original field of over 5,400 writers around the world, and after three rounds of competition, we finally have a winner of the 250-word Microfiction Challenge 2022! Congratulations to Leila Murton Poole (Queenstown, New Zealand) for winning the competition with her final round story, “Professor Malloy’s First Lesson Back Teaching University English 101 After An Extended Maternity Leave”.
